How to Reset Your Tipstake Transaction PIN

Your Tipstake Transaction PIN is a 4-digit secret code that authorizes transactions like buying tips and cashing out from the platform. You might want to change your transaction PIN for several reasons, such as when you feel your account security has been compromised. Here is a simple step-by-step guide to doing so:

  1. Access Your Profile:
    • On mobile, locate and scroll down to the profile section.
    • On desktop, find the profile section on the left side of the dashboard.
  2. Open Profile Editor: Click "Update Profile" option to open the profile editor.
  3. Navigate to Change PIN: Inside the profile editor, find the "Change PIN" tab at the top right corner. If you're setting your transaction PIN for the first time, it will appear as "Set PIN". If that's the case, refer to the guide for setting your initial transaction PIN.
  4. Provide Required Information:
    • Input your current transaction PIN in the "Old Pin" field.
    • Choose a new 4-digit transaction PIN and enter it in the "New Pin" field.
    • Confirm your new PIN by re-entering it in the "Confirm Pin" field.
  5. Save Your Changes: Click the "Save" button to save your updated transaction PIN.
  6. Confirmation: Your transaction PIN has been successfully reset. This new 4-digit PIN will be used for all future Tipstake transactions.
